the world came crashing down

daddy went off to india today.
work stuff.
because of it, i didn't manage to get my butt down for the samba "OPEN TALK".

from a totally objective view, seeing that i don't belong to any of the cliques in TPL, here's my point of view.

yes, there is an invisible line between bloco and non-bloco people.
i am glad that this issue was finally brought to light.
personally, i have never belonged to TPL truly. mainly because i feel like an outsider?
i really don't know.
i'm there for the music, for the learning of something new.

but observing the tension between the people, i don't know what to say.
i feel that it's not very wise to have the people from upbeats there all the time.
2 reasons:
1) not all of us know them, and feel extremely uncomfortable with them watching. we know we don't play that well. maybe it didn't occur to you guys that we feel very pressured by their presence. the tension is palpable when they're around. yes, i read shafiq's blog. but the thing is, do tell, when have they taught us?
2) actually i said it all in 1.

on the seinors/bloco's side though, maybe you don't notice.
things like this are often overlooked.
but since i did not attend the talk, i don't know the shake down of things right now.
if it was a talk anyway. not a 'point fingers at one another and refuse to accept mistakes' session.

ok. on with normal stuff.
i have PROCOI interview tomorrow, oh noooooo.
die die die.
shall go study now, instead of rambling on and on.

oh, and the title of the post?
for my knowledge only.

ta rar.
